Students are housed in dorm rooms of 6-10 people per room. and each dorm room will have a room leader. Missions Training Program students are usually asked to be dorm stewards because MTP students are in leadership training.

Students of the opposite sex are not allowed to visit in the dorm rooms.

We do not allow meals in the dorm rooms. Basic light-dry snacks are permitted and you will be required to keep your things clean and in order. Others will share your living space and may not appreciate any unclean space that you tolerate.

We do not allow candles to be burned in rooms because of the fire hazard they cause.

A key part of the learning process is the dynamic of living and interacting with other students. We have seen that God uses close living to teach the students about patience, other-centeredness, prayer, service and sacrifice. It is inevitable that there will be conflicts when a large group of people from various backgrounds, cultures and ages are living in close proximity for long periods of time. But it is also possible for them to live together in love and harmony when Jesus is kept at the center of living. With this in mind we will ask you to observe the following:
Pray for one another regularly.
Submit to one another and seek to serve each other.
Deny yourself; sacrifice your wants to help others.
Beware of gossip and putting others down.
Forgive, forgive, forgive! Practice forgiveness always.
Realize that God is in control and that He has allowed you to be in that room with those people. Learn what He wants to teach you from that.

Megan on Dorm Life:

I know from experience that life in the dorms can be stretching at times, but you really become like family. It is sad at the end of the semester to say good-bye because you become pretty close with each other.

There are usually six to ten people in a dorm room that has bunk beds, wardrobes and desks. The rooms really are spacious and nice. It becomes your "home" at Bible College, and it is kind of like you share a room with either your sisters or your brothers.

We have dorm meetings once a week where we just set aside a night to hang out, catch up with each other (because believe it or not, you can go a couple of days without really seeing and spending time with your roommates because of your schedules) and it is a good time to pray with one another and eat yummy things.

Interns and MTP students are the Dorm Stewards and there is one in each room. They are in charge of making sure the lights go out for curfew, scheduling dorm meetings and they are there for the students for anything they may need; prayer, advice, to be a friend and an encouragement. The Dorm Stewards also enforce the rules and most importantly they are there to love on the students and to be a godly examle to them.
